Carstens Tönnieshof 7240-20 Rainbow Glazed Handled Vase - West Germany, c. 1960s–70s

A striking vintage ceramic vase by Carstens Tönnieshof, produced in West Germany during the late 1960s to 1970s.

Form 7240-20 features an expressive double-handled silhouette with a dramatically flared rim and a richly layered glaze moving through orange, yellow, turquoise, cobalt blue and violet. The colours blend and pool across the surface, creating the highly individual character associated with postwar West German ceramics.
